Terms of Use

Last updated October 10th, 2026

These terms apply to your use of workplacementalhealthassessment.com (the “site”). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Information only – not professional advice

Everything on the site, including the self-check, the key areas, resource listings and articles, is general information for employers and workers. It is not medical, psychological, legal, tax or benefits advice and does not create any professional relationship. Always seek the advice of a qualified professional about your own situation. Never disregard professional advice or delay seeking it because of something you read here. If you or someone else may be in danger, call 911, or call or text 988 in the US.

2. The self-check

The self-check is a planning aid that reflects your own answers. It is not a validated survey instrument, a compliance audit or a clinical assessment, and its scores should not be used to make decisions about any individual employee.

3. Accuracy and changes

We work to keep content accurate and current, but laws, research and resources change. The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We may change, suspend or remove any part of the site at any time.

4. Third-party sites

Links to other websites are provided for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. A link does not imply endorsement or affiliation.

5. Intellectual property

The text, design, graphics and images on the site are owned by us or used under license and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may view, print and share pages for your own non-commercial use, and quote short excerpts with a link and attribution. You may not republish substantial portions, frame the site or use its content to train or populate other services without written permission. The self-check statements may be used inside your own organization with attribution.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use the site in a way that breaks the law, infringes others’ rights, interferes with its operation, attempts to gain unauthorized access, or sends spam or harmful code through our forms.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or its content. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to US$100.

8. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the site.
