Privacy Notice
Last updated October 10th, 2026
This notice explains how the independent editorial team that runs workplacementalhealthassessment.com (“we”, “us”) handles personal information. We collect as little as we can, and we never sell or rent it.
Information we collect
When you browse
Like almost every website, our servers and our content delivery network (Cloudflare) automatically process technical data needed to deliver pages securely: IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the referring page and the time of the request. This data is used to keep the site running, to defend it against abuse and to understand overall traffic. Server logs are kept for no more than 30 days unless needed to investigate a security incident.
When you use the self-check
The organizational self-check is scored entirely in your browser. Your answers are not transmitted to us or to anyone else, and they disappear when you close or refresh the page.
When you contact us
If you use the contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address, organization (if given) and your message. We use these only to read and respond to you, and to keep a record of corrections. Please do not send health information about yourself or others. Messages are deleted after 24 months unless an ongoing conversation requires us to keep them.
Cookies and similar technologies
Public pages do not set advertising or tracking cookies. A single strictly necessary cookie is used when an editor signs in to manage the site. Cloudflare may set a security cookie to distinguish real visitors from bots. See the cookie notice for details. If we ever add analytics, we will update this notice first and, where required, ask for your consent.
How we share information
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the site – our hosting provider and Cloudflare – under contracts that limit how they may use it, or where the law requires it (for example, a valid legal request). We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to obtain a copy, to correct it, to delete it, and to object to or limit certain processing. Residents of California and other US states with privacy laws, and visitors from the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, can exercise these rights by emailing [email protected]. We will respond within the time the applicable law allows and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
International transfers
The site is operated from and hosted in the United States. If you visit from elsewhere, your information will be processed in the US, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
Security
Traffic to the site is encrypted with HTTPS, access to the server is restricted to key-based logins, and the editorial dashboard is protected by individual credentials. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what we hold.
Children
This site is written for adults in the workplace. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We will post any changes to this notice on this page and update the date above. Significant changes will be highlighted on the home page for a reasonable period.
